Elizabeth King is an independent journalist in Chicago covering social justice, activism, politics, and news. She graduated with a BA in philosophy from DePaul University in 2011.

You can find Elizabeth’s work in various national publications including the Columbia Journalism Review, In These Times, the Independent, the NationNew YorkPacific Standard, The Poetry Foundation, Rewire.NewsRolling Stone, Splinter, Teen Vogue, and several Vice channels. Elizabeth wrote the cover story, The New Green Scare, for the October/ November 2019 issue of The Progressive magazine. She was previously a news writer for Brit+Co, and a contributing writer for Pacific Standard.
